2020 Season: U12 Girls Head Coach & U14 Boys Assistant Coach

Ib is a Montreal native who grew up in Ottawa and played both basketball and football for the University of Ottawa. Ib was a standout athlete receiving multiple awards as a Gee Gee, including the 1995 OUAA Rookie of the Year award (basketball) and was a 1st Team All Canadian in 1999 (football). After graduating, Ib was drafted 5th overall by the Calgary Stampeders and had a successful 7 year career in the Canadian Football League, including winning a Grey Cup in 2001. Ib is a passionate coach with a lot of coaching experience, and he’s eager to share his knowledge and lessons learned over the years. “I always strive to create a positive environment for young athletes that will promote physical, mental, and social development”

Ib has logged countless hours of volunteer work as a motivational speaker for various organizations, schools, and outreach programs. His players learn how to compete with confidence, intensity, and challenge themselves everyday in order to become the best version of themselves on and off the court.
